Problems with the mechanicals

I was in plumbing and heating all my life. Where I lived and worked there were many weekend and summer homes. These homes were shut up much of the year. I found that the mechanicals (heat systems and water pumps) had more break downs for the amount they were used than a home lived in full time. I believe this is due to them just sitting and deteriorating instead of being used regularly. I read here about many RV problems that I hope I never have. I am a full timer and do travel a lot. If you are a part time user of your RV and have problems and you do not understand why maybe this can be the reason why.

This is true because of seals drying out and corosion forming on electrical connections.
