Propane Questions
Recently upgraded from a popup to a 29’ Keystone Springdale travel trailer. I have 2 propane questions:
1. If I’m camping at a site with no power and the battery is disconnected, can I still run the fridge off of propane?
2. Assuming the same conditions, can I run the furnace off of propane? Not sure about having the blower work with no battery?

The systems in your RV require 12 volt power to operate .
The fridge; control panel and LP solenoid , actually very little , furnace blower needs a lot.
Depending on how long you boondock you would need a gen set or solar to recharge.

Both furnace and refer need 12 volt to run. So no they won't run with the battery disconnected.

No. Both systems need 12v power to operate. The furnace needs a lot of 12v power and can deplete a battery to below 50% charge overnight if it is used a lot. The fridge uses much less power, but needs 12v power to regulate the temp inside the fridge.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Would I be able to run the fridge for a while (3-4 days) off of LP and not run the battery down?

It will depend on the condition and charge of your battery as well as any other 12 volt loads such as lights, TV, LP ad CO2 detectors etc. The fridge alone would be no problem if you start with a charged battery.
