How long should my dual 30lb tanks keep the fridge cold? Only had the hot water heater on for one day and now have a about three weeks between trips and dont have an easy electric hook up yet without running cord etc. Just wondering how long people can go with their set ups.

Should do it. Just keep your eye on the tanks and refill the first as is runs out. Assume your tanks are removable???

With no other draws on the propane, there is no problem. Hot weather is the only factor. But even so, a refrigerator will last many weeks on one tank.
You may want to look at a cooling fan for the refrigerator. A fan has very little battery draw and saves propane.

You may calculate what your particular refrigerator will consume. Propane contains 91,690 BTU per gallon. Divide that by the input BTU of your refrigerator operating on propane. Propane weighs about 4.24# per gallon, so a 30# cylinder will hold about 5.66 gallons at 80% capacity. They will operate at most 26 days on one cylinder. Use propane for anything else, have a "light" cylinder, and of course that is not valid. I know I used a lot of "vague" wording, but this is the best explanation I have to offer. Maybe this will help.
