Protecting house batteries

We are getting into winter season and freezing temperatures. Our coach is connected to shore power 24/7 which means the house batteries stay charged. However, I was wondering stay connected to shore power will protect the house and chassis batteries from freezing? Otherwise I was thinking of covering them with tarp or a blanket.

If you are plugged in and the batteries are being "topped off" then no worry at all unless you expect temperatures to drop below -92 degrees!

Charged batteries should not freeze.

Just confirm your chassis battys charge from shore power.
If not just add a small maintainer / trickle charger for those.

My chassis batteries do not charge on shore power but some models do. So as stated above you need to find that out.

Add a triklstart that charges chassis while on shore power or connect battery tender directly to chassis battery.
