Each of my three motorhomes has had a Pulse Air switch device to alternate the two air conditioners on a 7 minute/5 minute schedule. They must have only sold four of the things, because I can't find anything new about them. They are/ were made by Trans Tech (Plano TX, I believe)which seems to be out of business. My Pulse Air malfunctioned and no longer alternates the units. I can force the front or rear on with the top and middle switch positions, but for a while they wouldn't come on together with the generator and now won't alternate (front stays on in the bottom switch position).

Does anyone know if the company is still in business, was bought out, sold the rights, or any other option that would mean the device is still available?

Does anyone know of a reasonable way to troubleshoot it? It looks like it has a couple of relays and a small circuit board in it.

Otherwise it looks like my only option would be to get a replacement OEM switch.

Neil,

Thanks for the link. I looked at the website then called. They will replace it for $169 plus $20 for shipping. I had already checked with RVupgrades and they don't carry it.

I hate to admit I found out why it wouldn't alternate in the down position. When I was chasing wiring, I put the selector switch back in upside down. So I was really in the "front" position instead of the "alternate" position.

I am going to check out the ATS I installed for the rear A/C before replacing the Pulse Air. If I can bypass the ATS and make both work from the genny, I will know it was the ATS and not the Pulse Air.

Thanks again for the link,
