My waterpump runs for one second every two minutes. I checked every connection and I have no leaks, everything is dry. Is it possible that the system is loosing pressure back through the pump? I don't see a check valve after the pump, so maybe the pump is leaking back into the fresh water tank? Do pumps have built-in check valves? Any ideas?

Seems like the pump should have a check valve in it. If you have no obvious leaks then it has to be losing pressure through the pump. You have bled all the air out of the system right? My pump doesn't run again until the next time a faucet is opened or the toilet is flushed which may be hours or all night.

One other place to check for a leak is at the city water inlet. There is a check valve and if it is weeping this could also cause the pump to come on every few minutes. If not leaking then the pump is unable to hold the pressure and repairs or replacement will be needed.
