Pump won't hold pressure

During a recent trip our water pump suddenly has developed a problem holding pressure when we are not using water. We had always been able to just leave the pump on and it maintained pressure fine until we turned on a water faucet or used the toilet.
Now, even with no water running the pump cycles once every minute or so to maintain pressure.

Is this likely a problem with the pump itself, or have we possibly developed an air leak somewhere? I can't find any indication of a water leak anywhere.
I don't have a problem replacing the pump if that is the problem, but just want to see if there is something else I should be checking first.

Thanks!

Most likely cause is a tiny leak somewhere, but the water pump may require a rebuild kit. If the diaphragm fails, pressure can leak backwards into the tank, causing this momentary on-off situation.
Once you take the pump section apart, you may find that a tiny piece of debris is the cause.

There could be a leak somewhere but i have a feeling it's a dirty or failing check valve. My first thought is that water is back flowing through the pump towards the tank. Not sure of the layout but there is a check valve somewhere, either in line or in the pump itself. You may be able to take it apart and clean it when you find it.

Not sure about your configuration but I just had the same exact problem last week. I wasn't losing any water and there no leaks. It turned out to be the solenoid valve for the fresh water fill when I want to fill the fresh water tank while connected to city water (as opposed to the gravity fill port). Basically it created an internal leak allowing the pressure to drop after a few minutes and the pump would cycle on to rebuild the pressure. Replaced the valve and the problem is solved. My coach happens to have about six of these solenoid valves for various functions (auto-fill, cold water drain, hot water drain, and a couple others I'm not sure about). It could also be that your pump is not holding pressure as previously suggested with the same net result. Good luck!
