I am planning on buying the Prowatt SW600 600 Watt True Sinewave Inverter by Xantrex. It has good reviews on Amazon.
It is only available up to 2000 watts with 3000 watts surge but they have other models that go higher.

The Aims inverters are cheaper but have very bad reviews.

I kind of like Xantrex Prosines. they come in up to 3kw. I have a 2kw and am very happy with it.. NOTE: for each KW you really need either a pair of G-31 Deep cycles or a pair of GC-2's So with a 3kw you 3 pair.

I currently have 8 six volt golf cart batteries for the house working with a RV2012 MSW inverter charger. I am thinking of replacing this in the future with an equivalent pure since wave one. Please note i need an inverter+charger combo (just inverter woudn't work for me)
Is the Prosine an inverter+charger ? Does it come more than 2000W?
How about Outbacks?

I have a Magnum MS2012 with 6 Trojan 105 RE batteries. I've had the Magnum for 4 years and have never had a problem with it. If I had it to do over again I'd stick with Magnum. I run my refrigerator 3-4 hours on AC, TV, satellite internet, laptop and never go below 12.4V. I charge the 105's with 770W of solar panels.
