Push Button Breakers, How to Disconnect?

My new (to me) Winnebago Ultimate Freedom has those push button breakers for a bunch of components. Manual says "Push to Reset".

My question: How do you disconnect a breaker? Do you thread them out of the panel or what?

I want to cut power to the radio. I am used to the old fuse boxes and just pulling a fuse to disconnect.

A great question!

These breakers really aren't designed to be "thrown off" so that you can safely work on the circuit.

Two thoughts:
1) Find an "up stream" cut-off switch or breaker that will kill juice to the radio in question.
2) Create a short-circuit at the radio's power input....which will cause the breaker to trip.

I agree, There are two wires connected to the back side of the breaker.. Remove one is the only way and please.. Remove the load side.

Better option is to cut in and install a switch.

Or just use the battery disconnect to cut all 12 volt inside the rig.
