Radio turns on by itself

On numerous occasions, I have walked past my travel trailer and noticed that the radio is on. I can tell by the music over the exterior speakers. At first I thought is was a neighbor messing with me, but eliminated that. There is no excessive moisture or leaks that would cause condensation on any switches. I have confirmed the radio is turned off. I have disconnected the battery but still had it plugged into 120 volt to finalize winterizing when it happen again yesterday. I think it is time to replace radio or an exorcism, not sure which one. Anyone else have this problem?

Put a switch on the power wire to it. Just a couple bucks, and that leaves you deciding when it comes on and when it won't

Thanks for the quick comments. I read the referenced links and it does kind of make sense, never thought of fluctuating power having that kind of affect. I had my house catch fire from what we think could have been a bad home stereo on our patio, I think I will replace the radio unit and provide a kill switch when the weather get back warmer.

I had the same issue in my '10 Damon Daybreak with a Jensen radio. My issue was caused by the weather band on that radio. There is a setting in my radio to have it turn the radio on whenever there is a NOAA weather alert issued in the area. The weather band on my radio would come on and broadcast the warning and then automatically go to whatever band and station I had it tuned to. Once I finally figured how to turn the weather alert feature off in the radio's Settings menu my radio behaves normally.

Wife told me we did have a power blip the day it acted up. She said she had to reset clock on microwave inside the S&B. Could have been the issue before and just did not realize the power spikes. I will also check to see if I have weather setting on my radio. Do not remember seeing any, but will check. We have a 2011 KZ Spree 261.
