I am in a CG with very low water pressure. If I fill my fresh water tank and, keeping the city water connection in place and TURNED ON, use the water pump from the fresh water tank? I only want to use the pump for showers. I can live with low water pressure for all other stuff.
I've done this in the past for showers but always turned off the city water feed first.
25+ years of RV'ing one would think I should know this.

Works in my coach. Run the pump along with city water to boost the pressure.

I had this problem once and I took the water restrictor (the one that keeps your pressure down if you have high pressure supply) from my water hose and I was fine. Try that if you have one on your supply hose yet. Hope that helps
