I have a friend just purchased a used motorhome from and Private owner. We are trying to get the back up camera to work.
Checked the connections at the camera, cleaned the eye. Still the montor has lines running hoz. across the screen
Any help would be appricated.
It is about a 1995 Audiodox System: AOS10
Camera: AOC45, Montor: AON55
Thanks Jim

Jim,

Does the monitor have an input button? If so press it a few time to scroll through the available inputs. Someone may have simply bumped it and switched it to the wrong one. Check out the Audiovox web site. If you don't have the manual they do have a selection online in PDF format.

Regards,

Hi Neil V
I called him and he did not see a input button on it anywhere.

Jim,
I sometimes have "lines" on my display when I'm towing my toad. They are caused by sunlight reflecting off of the hood of the car and then being picked up by the camera. Is there any chance that something similar may be causing your problem?
Canuck

Hi Canuck,
We have been checking out his camera in the back yard where there should not be any reflection on it. He has talked to an RV dealer and they want him to bring it to them to check it out but that will be $$$$ so he told me he might carry it next week.
Thanks for the info. we will check anything.
Jim
