On my Norcold, how much leeway is there for being "level". My garage pad is almost perfect, but when parked for a week or so, the front bags flatten a bit...a nickel will roll from back to front when on the countertop.

I had an RV tech once tell me, if the coach feels level to you, it's probable level enough for the fridge.

The manual for my Norcold 12 cu. ft. fridge says it should be level within 3 degrees side to side and 6 degrees front to back. When parked in the driveway at our old house, our 37' coach was off level by at least 6" front to back and the fridge always worked fine.

While the newer design refrigerators are more tolerant to levelness; I still feel that the more level the longer the unit will last whe all else are equal. It will also be more efficient in its cooling effect.

Check the fridge with a level. The counter tops are not that level with the fridge at times.

Footdoc - If you are concerned about not beng level because air bleeds from the front bags over time, why not just dump the air from all the bags for long term storage? Does that result in the coach being level?

Not trying to hijack thread but it seemed like a good place to ask....Does the referigerator have to be level when it is turned off and in storage?

Steve.
