Refrigerator problem

Refrigerator will not start while on propane, I have it set on automatic and can hear it when it switches to gas but can not hear any clicking when it should be igniting. does anybody have any suggestions?

Watch it from the outside with the access panel removed, while somebody switches it to LP mode (or removes 120v so its witches over). See if you can see/hear sparking then.

What make and model of fridge is it?

Is the propane detector inside your coach on (and working)?
Have you double-checked that you have propane, and that the outside tank valve is open?

I also remember once a long time ago when my chassis battery went bad that my ref wouldn't click to light the propane. Just another idea ..... Good luck!

More than likely you have a flake of rust that has fallen out of the chimney and is shorting out the igniter. You should have a qualified person service (clean and adjust) the system first and not just start throwing any parts at it. Good luck and keep us posted.
