You need at least 24hrs of cooling time without opening the refr.
There's too little information to know what's going on. Norcold, Dometic? Model?
You need good 12V power for the circuit board, then good LP pressure to run the LP flame with a good gas valve and thermocouple. For 120V you need power at the outlet, and the relay on the control board working, and a good heating element.
That's barely scratching the surface.

I had not run the fridge for a couple of months and when I got ready to use it again it would not cool. I reset it several times and it began working. It mystified me, until I read on this forum that sometimes the gas lines need to be purged of air. That made no sense to me because I thought of the propane system as a closed system. Well, the next time the refer was off for a while, the first thing I did was light a burner on the stove and watch it sputter out twice! When the flame held steady, I turned on the fridge. 34* in 12 hours. Happy dance.
