Remote for Winnebago Basement Air

Has anyone fitted a remote for a basement air unit?

It sure would be nice for controlling the unit while driving with the generator running.

I have not been able to find anything like this.

Do folks just send the co pilot back to change the temp?

It is already automatic. Just set to cool and set the temperature to the desired point.
When it starts getting warm, start the generator.
When the set point is reached the air will start.

Or you can use the DW.

Thats what I am doing already. When it gets cool enough I stop the generator for a while.

Today my wife had to get out of her seat to first start and then and then adjust the air.

I am thinking a device such as a neat or Ecobee may work.

Turns out the Nest is 24volt but Ecobee SI is 12volt. I found a write up on Ecobee being paired with the same basement air system I have.

Ecobee will only work remote if internet is available.
