Removing Outside Cover of Emerson Quiet Kool

Trying to clean things up and the PM, I am at the point where I need to remove the outside cover of my Emerson Quiet Kool (1989 vintage) AC. I have looked and looked and read the manual and I see no way to get cover off so I can clean in side and inspect it.

It appears I have to remove the entire AC from the roof to see inside (turning upside down) which makes no sense.

Anyone have one and can tell me how stupid I am being?

Thanks

In this link with picture of cover it shows dimples close to roof line which may have screws into roof mounting plate.
Most filters are located inside under ceiling cover when its removed.
Get the cover off for motor and evaporator access.
May need flashlight to see in those dimples.
Four under sides one front & rear.

Thanks again, you were right. There were 6 screws tucked away underneath that held the cover on. Took them out and off it came. Cleaned it out no problem. Getting the screws back in was another matter but you can't have everything.

Thanks for your help
