Replaced Dometic frig. with Samsung

We have completed the replacement and DW is happy. The Samsung model 197 is at 0 in the freezer and 37 in the frig. The replacement was done at Apalachee RV in Auburn GA. They are a full maint. and repair facility and do not sell RVs. They did a outstanding job! The new frig looks great, the installation is neet and done above my expectations. I was tired of babying the Dometic and constantly worrying that critical medications were safely stored at the propper temp. I know many of you are having the same problems and doubts with your gas/elec units. I can truly recommend Apalachee RV if you decide you have had enough already ,as I did. If I may ask. Not counting the cost of the refrigerator what did it cost for installation and how long did they need to have your RV

I have a Domectic RM-1350 gas/electric frig and have had the same issues, but have finally got it working well. It is in the side wall slide to make it worse. I have reworked the upper exhaust ductwork with bubble insulation to make rounded 90's and also added 2 12 volt fans inside the frig under the coils in the back to move air over the internal cooling coils. It now reaches setpoint when it is hot outside. Zero or lower in the freezer and 33-34 in the frig. Went through a lot of banging my head on the wall!

I would suggest that you call for a estimate because each MH will have its own design situations and therefore each job would require detailed individual evaluation.
