Replacing back up camera

Has anyone replaced their older b&w backup camera? Will a color setup work on my existing wires?Click image for larger version

there are three pieces to make it work - camera, display and cable. not sure what kind of rv you have so hard to answer your question. (including your rig info on signature will save everyone's guess).

if you replace the camera, you get the first part nailed.
display is another thing you have to look at it. some had to replace it if it was b/w only.
as only as your cable is coaxial, that will be fine to carry color signal.

Call Tim at RVCams.com (877-378-2267). From what I've read on these fora, he is knowledgeable and a straight shooter.

Exactly!

I replaced my B/W system with a color unit and he provided me with the three cameras, monitor, and adapters (so I could use existing cables)...all for less than $1k.

Have no idea what you have and therefore cannot say if the adapters will work for you. Call Tim and he will guide you through it.

holy! no wonder people were talking about the cost of rv ownership... . i replaced mine 3 years ago. well, my labor didn't count, and i bought the camera and pioneer display out of ebay and craigslist... a fraction of it... oh well, i was in the other extreme

Update....called them and got a monitor & camera that worked with the s-video cables in my MH. Works like a charm. And they are nice folks!
