Residental fridge

I also remove my LP tank. I had to loosen up the fuel tank mounting bolts to move it over about a half inch to be able to get my LP tank out. I also put in a stainless steel floor.

You need to seal the frig vent when converting to a residential frig. Otherwise outside air can enter your RV. Same with the roof vent. An RV frig is sealed to the sides. Res frig is not, it uses inside air to cool the condenser.

On mine I just cut two styrofoam panels from some 1-inch styrofoam panel I had leftover from a different project. The styrofoam seals around the vent opening, and I have my stock vented panel in place on the outside. I can still remove the styrofoam when I need to access the back of the frig.

I replaced my Norcold 1200 with a Samsung RF-18.
