reversing valve issue?

Have 1998 American Dream. 2 roof a/c units. Fronts works fine both heat and a/c. Rear unit fan works in on position, a/c works in on and auto thermostat positions. Heat doesn't work in any thermostat position. Any ideas?

If I understand the problem, either the rear heating unit is bad or the connection (to the rear heating unit) is bad. Start with a voltmeter to see if the rear heating element is getting power. If it is getting power, than you'll probably need to replace the heating component.

spen19cer, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums.
I take it that both roof units are heat pumps. I have seen some of the American coaches of this age with only one heat pump and one straight cool units on the roof.
I take it you have the Comfort Control Center T'stat. Does the wording "Heat Pump" come up on zone 2? If not what does if anything?

You said "Heat works" on the front.. Is this a heat strip buit into the A/C or does the A/C control the house furnace?

If the former then either the rear unit does not have the optional heat strip. or the heat strip is defective

If the latter.. the rear unit does not control the furnace.. (That is how my system is set up)
