Hi Stan and Marguerite,
My fridg is similar to yours. I have a similar problem. Creative control adjustments and adding an exhaust fan to the chiminey has helped make everyting run okay. This does not come without continuing mental effort. Here is what I did.

Installed and exhaust fan in the top of the chimney. When the refer is on, so it the fan. I connected the fan to the same 12V source the refer uses.

Installed a battery opperated fan in both the freezer and refrigerator compartments. Most of the time the freezer fan is on, but not the refrigerator fan. Only in hot weather do I run both.

The outside control is placed on #3 (3 out of 5) during Fall, Winter and Spring weather. In Summer, the outside control is on #4 (4 out of 5)

The refrigerator interior thermostat is slid all the way down, as far as it will go.

On my unit I have a high humidity button. This is turned on in all seasons except Winter.[/list]
I have a temp guage in both the freezer and refer compartment. The freezer usually stays at 0 to -10 F. The refer stays between 35 and 25 F. Since the doors are opened and closed a lot (kids and kids friends) I no longer have any problems with the refer food being too cold.
On Edit:
Nice web site you have there. I see your refer is on the curb side of the coach. Lucky you. One additional thing you can to is extend the awning to keep the sun off the side of the coach where the refer is. I have found the sun will play havoc with all the above mentioned items to help you. Unfortunately, my refer is on the street side of the coach.
