My generator shut down while using our last working AC while in my storage lot.

I realized then that the battery level of charge demanded most of the current from the generator and the AC compressor draw killed the breaker.

AC is working fine now on shore power so it is likely not the AC unit.

I did buy a spare 30A breaker for my 20 year old one. Maybe my breaker is getting weak?

What fix did you do the generator? Does your AC work on Shorepower?

Locate the manual and review the troubleshooting section.

You need to confirm ALL POWER.

Verify 120 vac and possibly 12 VDC are present at the ac unit.

Loss of power via generator shut off could be decreasing voltage and frequency which may cause an old compressor to go wonky.

First do as suggested and follow the manufacturer troubleshooting instructions to determine the issue.

Folks here may give tips they used for theirs that do not apply to yours.

Possibly you tripped a breaker on the generator, or in working on it you may have disconnected something.

If the generator was RUNNING and stopped damage might have happened to the A/C but odds are low on that.

RV Air conditioners usually need both 12 volt and 120 volt to work.. You need to confirm both are present at the A/C..

Check for voltage delivery (CAUTION DANGEROUS VOLTAGES) and report back for next step.

Not on Generator , When I get to shore power I'll check.
