Rv qg 7000 breakers

My onan 7000 tripped one of the two 30 amp breakers (lower one of the two)on the front of it last night. When I went to reset it, it just moves left and right but acts as if it is not connected to anything. This is the same breaker that has tripped a couple of times in the past, without excessive load on it, in my opinion. It never has felt as solid or clunky as the upper one, when cycled. Of course it is the breaker that powers the A/Cs, among other things.

My question is, how difficult are these breakers to replace? We have a trip to the NASCAR race planned for next weekend. Won't be taking the camper if the gen is not operable.

If not a DIY project, gotta get on the phone early tomorrow to find a repair shop.

With generator off, remove cover over breakers and remove the breaker. Take it to an electrical parts counter or store and match to a new one. The breaker is also available online, getting it in time could be an issue. Also, if both breakers are the same, you could swap out the bad for the other good one for the weekend.

Thanks for the reply. After I found the service/parts manual online, I figured out it was pretty easy to replace the breakers myself. I called several RV repair shops in my area and was surprised none of them carry much regarding Onan replacement parts. I ended up going to the Cummins repair center in Indy and purchased two breakers. I did the replacement yesterday and kept the one good one that was in the generator as a "spare". It appears that Onan changed the breakers (different part number) since my generator was built. Total time to replace both breakers was about 15 minutes. required a Philips screw driver, 13mm and 10 mm sockets. Very easy. Everything working now. Now, I want to figure out what electric loads are fed from each of the 2 breakers on the gen. Just because inquiring minds want to know.
