See Level II LPG level

A year ago I installed the See Level II monitoring system and all was well. Now I am noticing that the LPG monitor isn't accurate. The mechanical gage on the tank shows 50% while the See Level II shows 90%. Other levels sem to mimic actual tank levels. Any ideas?

The LP gas tank will only be at 80% full when full, have to take into consideration when adjusting reading gage.

The SeeLevel LPG sensor can be calibrated as follows:
NOTE: LP tank must be full to perform calibration
1. Press and hold the LPG button
2. While holding the LPG button, also press the BATT button. After about 5 sec, display should show "LPG"
3. Release both buttons and display should show "CAL"
4. When the CAL display goes off in a few seconds, the calibration is complete.

As 007 says, when SeeLevel gauge shows 100%, the gauge on the tank will only show 80% because the OPD valve prevents filling the tank further. This is considered to be full, thus the 100% reading on the SeeLevel gauge. If the SeeLevel gauge is properly calibrated, it should read about 62% when the mechanical gauge on the tank is reading 50%.

Paz,

Thanks, next time I fill it up (to 80%), I will do the calibration.
