Hello Everyone,

I am looking for separate/stackable washer and dryer units for our motorhome and need some suggestions and advices on what to buy...

ARISTON is not an option - we've had a very bad experience with their washer/dryer combo unit Splendide 2100XC: first time it broke in about 3 months after purchase, when it was still under warranty and now, 1 year later it failed again. I also used to have a refrigerator manufactured by them, which quit working in about 6 months after purchase, so I don't have feith in their products any more.

I need units that would work on 110 Volt, 15-Amp.

Any feedback is highly appreciated!

Contrary to your experience, I have had the Splendide Ariston stacked washer and dryer for three and a half years and they have never skipped a beat. I run both at the same time which saves a lot of time. I'd certainly purchase the same units again. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Splendide.

Thank you for the feedback! I guess I just haven't been so lucky with their appliances, and after all the troubles I am afraid to buy something of their make.

I don't have access to my MH now, but the washer is similar to this one and the dryer is similar to this one.

Ha... I've searched Whirlpool's web-site today, but somehow missed these units... Thanks for your help!

Our Splendide stack-able dryer works fine, can not say the same for the washer. Splendide pump and power model shorted out after just 3 hours of operations after purchasing it at Lazy Days in Tampa FL. Had a local (100 miles away in Lubbock TX) Splendide dealer look at it. First emails were that Speldide would cover the costs of parts and labor on the unit they then refused because although new, it had been intended for installation in a Tiffin Phaeton on receiving the serial number. What happened to new is new and we do the right thing for the customer?

We have the Whirlpool stacked washer and dryer in our Beaver that look like the ones Route 66 posted web addresses to. The model # of ours is Washer, LHW0050PQ. Dryer is LDR3822PQ1.

I know those look like serial numbers, but the serial numbers are listed separately in the paperwork too. Oddly the owners manuals for both appliances list no model numbers that the manual covers, in two convenient languages, but say you need the numbers if you call for help.
