I have a question as to which battery type I have... I have an ME-MR remote control on my Magnum Inverter and as part of the programming process I need to know if I have an AGM type 1 or type 2 as defined on page 10 of the Rev C manual.

My battery is a Napa part number 9831DT. It is a group 31, AGM, with CCA of 800, CA@32 of 1000, 190 reserve capacity.

So ..... When I get to the programming step on page 10 do I have a type 1 or 2

I wrote to both Magnum and NAPA buy they are of no help

Here's what I received from Magnum

You'll need to check with Napa.
AGM1 has an Absorption Voltage of 14.3 and a Float Voltage of 13.1
AGM2 has an Absorption Voltage of 14.5 and a Float Voltage of 13.5
They should be able to tell you what charging parameters they are
looking for.

Thanks for your help

Bob

Get the full specifications of the battery. I am sure a well know battery company is making these for NAPA. Find out who and go there for the info on charging parameters.

If you go to the NAPA web site and search for the battery, the page that comes up has a link to the MSDS. If you click the MSDS, you will find the battery is manufactured by East Penn Manufacturing, which manufactures Deka batteries. Contact East Penn and tell them what NAPA battery you have. Someone in their technical department should be able to provide the information you need.
