SF42 Heater Problem

My heater lights, then runs for about 30 to 45 seconds, then shuts off. It will come back on after about 2 or 3 minutes, and then will repeat the same actions.
I've been having a problem with the fan motor making a high pitched noise, then it has changed to a loud grinding. I took the unit out of the MH and checked the fan cages, nothing found to be rubbing. Thinking it's the bearings on the motor. Since I have the thing apart, what other parts should I replace at this point. The sail switch is OK. Thanks

I believe the reason for the furnance not continuing to operate,is that the sail switch is not being satisfied because dry(no Lubrication)bushings on the fan shaft.

If you can get to the bushings try applying oil to them. This may work.I have heard people on this sight in the past say that that treatment does not last.My feeling is its worth a try if there is not that much time involved in removing the fan assembly and reinstallation.

Thanks Heavy... I got the motor out, appears bearings are burned out. Have ordered new motor now, hope that takes care of the problem. One dealer said I needed a new circuit board also, but I really thought all they wanted was to sell me another $120 part. Thanks.
