Shore power will not charge batteries

I sold my 5th wheel toyhauler and I'm checking out all the systems to be sure everything is in working order, I don't want to deliver a unit to someone that isn't working properly.
Here is the problem I am trying to run down: When the trailer is hooked to the truck I have 13.6 volts going to the batteries. When the generator is running, I have 13.2 volts going to the batteries. When I'm trying to run off the shore line I get no reading off the leads going to the batteries. The batteries themselves are holding 13.6 + volts. I can hear the contact switch tripping and the circuit board checks out. All the fuses and circuit breakers are functioning properly. I could use a little help with this problem if anyone has also experienced this. Thanks, Tony

Thats on pole to pole on each battery. It charges when it is hooked up to my vehicle or running off the generator, BUT it will not charge off of the shore line. The batteries go dead and the lights and other things wont work off the batteries as they should.

Not sure if this is an inverter problem or what? It doesnt make sense to me. Thanks for your input!

Ok converter / charger not inverter but the problem is still there I can run a battery charger off the 110 and charge the batteries but that is not the way it is supposed to work. Could this unit 2008 Coachman possibly have a inverter/converter I've only been able to find one power box in the cabinet behind the fuse panel.

sounds like the transfer switch isn't working?

does the house air conditioning work when you are on shore power?

Yes everything works on shore power but the batteries won't stay charged, I'm pretty sure that I have 110 without the shore power, I'll check that in the morning

What is it that you have
Inveter/charger
Converter
Battery Charger
Typically the "converter" is located inside the power distribution center
Make and Model sure would help
One way or the other they are usually very easy and low cost to repair

Our inverter has a button on it that needs to be pushed. This can be done at the inverter or the EMS display inside coach. If the "charge" light is on and batteries do not charge the inverter will need to be looked at. I have called the manufacturer and they are very helpful.

I'm pretty sure I found the problem. I located the converter/charger and it doesn't seem to be working. The unit is a WFCO 75 AMP power converter and when I disconected the batteries and put a meter on the output side of the converter I got no reading, when I reconnected the batteries I got a reading of 13.2 volts at the output side of the converter. I also got a reading of 13.2 volts at the batteries. If my thinking is correct the reading at the output side of the converter is back feed from the batteries but it also proves that the contact switch is opperational. I ordered a new converter and hopefully I'm going to be good to go. Thanks for listening to my problems, now I still have one more problem anyone out there know anything about fixing stupid. LOL

My Power Switch # LR353 is not allowing power to pass through it. There are two switches. One for shore and one for generator power. This is a Todd Engineering Power Switch.
I have a 1997 Safari, Sahara RV 31 FT.
Can it be repaired, or can you help me find one ? Thank you for your time and troubles.
