Shortstop Breaker Spec

Hi all

I have a 2003 Arctic Fox 29V.

The Shortstop breaker that is attached to the positive battery cable is no good. The metal casing on it has been corroded, so I am unable to read the specifications off of it. I contacted Northwood Manufacturing to ask them for the specs, but they would only tell me to take it to the dealer and have them replace it. I asked them again for the specs, but no answer. I have had some bad experiences with the local dealer and refuse to give him any more of my business. Besides, I don't feel like paying the big dealer markup, when I can buy one of these things for less than $10 at an auto parts store.

Does anybody out there know what the specs are for this breaker, and which type it is (automatic, manual or modified reset)?

Thanks

Try Nextag for the breaker. When you replace get a rubber boot or use silicone to coat the terminal to prevent corrosion

Does it have a small black reset button on a side?
More than likely it's an auto reset. How big is the question. What is it powering?

It does not have a reset button on it, so it must be either an automatic or modified reset.

This is a basic 29 foot trailer, the only big DC items are the slide outs.
