I have a shower leak between the faucetts where the hose drops down. There appears to be some sort of anti-backflow device, but water comes our whenever the shower is running. The hose doesn't seem to be loose, where tightening would fix it. Is this something that's replaceable as a part, or maybe something that can just be cleaned to stop the leak?

It's probalby the anti-siphon valve. It's there to protect the water system. If you left the shower head in some gunky water and your water pressure died, you wouldn't suck the gunky water back into the fresh water system.

It's usually easy to replace. I tried hunting around for just that part but coudln't find it. You might have better luck. Otherwise, you'll have to replace the whole assemble (still not too expensive).

Good Luck!
