We are on our first trip in our new to us 2004 Adventurer 38G. Just noticed that the shower head does not seem to have a shutoff button on it like we had in our 99 Adventurer. The shut off was useful when dry camping to conserve water "Navy Shower" style. Checked the bag of manuals, nothing in there about the shower head. It rotates to go from shower to pulse but nothing else. The name on it is Alsons. Any help will be appreciated.

Looks like a trip to Home Depot or so to get one of these in-line valves.

The ones I've gotten at HD or Lowes looks like this very compact pushbutton model. I installed mine at the other end of the shower hose, where it comes out of the wall - $6 or so.

i got my inline shower hose shutoff valve from vancouver rv. the valve has a female connection on top and attaches at the wall. the shower hose attaches to the bottom of the valve. the brand on the handle appears to be "qest" and the part number is nsf61. it is gray plastic, not my first color choice. we have been using this valve for 2 1/2 years and it works well.
the shower has a vacuum breaker behind the wall, so do not leave pressure on with the new shutoff valve closed for an extended period of time as the vacuum breaker will leak.
