Slide Motor Cutoff?

Slide motor cuts off on extentsion, but shears bolt rather than cut off when bringing slide in. Power Gear Slide Panel p/n 14-1098 PDC Rv products 12V Rev 4 or D? Any suggestions where to go next?

Most slide controls have a sensing pot that you adjust before the inward movement of slide jams against opposing wall.
It sounds like yours needs this adjustment.
The increase of current as it hits the wall stops the drive motor.
Your slides also have it as a option plus you have adjustments on slide, hardware to stop slide and adjust out of alignment conditions.
