The other thing that was happening is that when the jacks were down they wouldn't lift the coach

I thought so, I would try running the motor for a minute or two to see if it will pump any air in the system back to the reservoir and bleed out the lines. After doing this a couple of times the slide and jacks may start to work.

Journeywinn....Gary here, wondering if you got it fixed? I watched for a PM and did not know you had posted your # in the open thread. I saw that you added hydraulic fluid. You got a false reading checking with the slide out. The tank has to be checked with all fluid pumped back into the tank. That means jacks up and slides in, then check fluid level. I think you may now be over filled.

I also think the solenoid is the problem. The wires can get loose and sometimes just need to be wiggled a little. If you can find that solenoid give it a tap. If it is not marked, probably not more than 10 check them all. Most all of my solenoids are Bosh 78s. They are used through out the auto industry. All auto parts stores have them. Yours may be a different #. Call hwh for sure 319-724-3396

Gary - they got the slide in and moved to their repair facility. Ended up calling HWH and they said to override the solenoid. A new one has been ordered. Also learned something from HWH - when you're in a tight spot - let them know you're "stranded" and you'll have someone on the line quickly to help you.

Glad you figured out the problem. Thanks for posting the fix. We all learn a little more when the OP comes back with the final status. Information is a powerful thing....
