Slow water leak into grey tank

Have a 2018 Keystone Outback with 2 grey tanks, 1 for bath, 1 for kitchen.

Hooked up last night to city water, put the sewer hose on, opened grey tank valve, and went inside. Checked sink and shower and all worked fine. Came out later and noticed we have a very small stream of water coming thru the sewer hoe to the drain. Shower and sink are turned off. What could this be?

Sink and outdoor kitchen are on the other grey tank so those aren't the issue. And both have been off as well.

The fresh water pipes should not have any direct connection to the drain pipes or waste tanks. Therefore the only way for water to get into the grey tanks is through a drain in a sink or shower.

It sounds to me like a slow draining tank. I know when I drain my tanks they will guys it at first, but then slow to a trickle. I've never been patient enough to wait for it to stop completely.

That said, did you leave it open to drain all night? If so does it still have that same stream coming out of it?
