SOLAR INSTALLATION on Palomino Bronco...Done!

I just finished installing a Solar Panel on my Palomino Bronco Pop-Up truck camper.

Too long to post all the pictures and verbiage here so I posted it on my web page.

Enjoy!

Our situation is somewhat similar a teardrop trailer with limited area for a panel. we ended up with a 180W high voltage panel and an MPPT controller. We just completed 8 days on the north shore of Superior. The main drain for us is a WAECO refrigerator lights are all LED and TV and radio with XM reciever.

Same electrical demands here...Refrigerator fans when it is running on propane and LED interior lights and a small laptop.

I started the Propane refrigerator on Saturday AM, turned on one LED overhead light and plugged the laptop in four or five times a day for about an hour each time.

Here is is Monday AM, battery is at 12.5V with the sun just coming up and the refrigerator is at 35 degrees.

Not sure how much propane is left. I sure wish there was an accurate method to determine this.

So far the Solar seems to be keeping up with my demands.
