I have factory installed speakers in main cabin, bedroom, and outside. On the console I push A for main cabin, b for bedroom, and c for outside to turn them on or off. Lately A (main cabin crackles loudly. I can only use B&C, this happens after the radio has been on for about 20 mins. Anyone know what this might be....where I should start.
thanks

IF the other sets of speakers do not have this problem I would say it is either the front speakers or wiring. Change the front speakers to the bedroom and try them on "B". Let us know what happens after the usuall time period.

It could also be corrosion in the switch. I have a radio here at work that we never turn off and the switch gets a little corroded and has to be "cycled" a few times to clean it off. After "cycling" it was crystal clear for a couple of months and then started again. Became a monthly one on the maintenance schedule around here.

Cycling is pressing a button several times or turning a knob (volume control) back and forth several times to clean the dirt off the contacts.
