Hi all,

We've had the Splendide 2000 (vented) for about 5 years now and are quite happy with it (understanding it's limitations), however there has always been a noise during the dry cycle that I don't understand.

Every time the drum stops and reverses there is a noise that sounds like a pump running (?) for about 5 seconds or so and then shuts off. I have always wondered if this is normal ... I have also wondered if this is a necc. part of the cycle for the unvented model and it is just present in all models.

Thanks,
Roger

Roger, it probably is the pump cycling. I know this is necessary for the non vented model and I bet it is also used on the vented model. "If it is not broken; don't fix it"!
