Splendide Soap Won’t Go

My Splendide 2000S combo w/d was made ~2007. My automatic soap dispenser is staying full. Whatever causes it to drain into the tub has quit working. Has this happened to you? What was the fix?

Jerry

first off you only use liquid laundry detergent and you use only about a tablespoon per wash as it will over suds and will not go out the drain.

if you put powder in you will have to clean it out.

READ YOUR INSTRUCTIONS

have a good day.

Splendide recommends you use only their powdered detergent.

Come on Mr D.

yeah because it has special ingredients to make it dispense

Do a poll and find out how many people actually use Splendide detergent.

Splendide detergent is just another brand with a Splendide sticker slapped onto it.

Never heard of Splendide soap. I use Tide liquid because thats what DW uses at home. I've used it since 2011 with out issue. I did have to clean out the gunky left over fabric softener from PO. I only use the soap and bleach dispenser bins.

The detergent drawer can be removed and cleaned. Pull it out and cleanitwithsomehot water. You may also want to clean the compartment the drawer slides into, it can get gunned up as well. While it is ok to use powder or liquid, we switched to liquid to prevent clogs. We now use the little packs and have no issues. Also if your not doing the monthly cleaning of the machine, spledide websit has instructionsand I alwaysadd vinegar to clean out soap residue.
