What I did with mine and it is from 1998 or 1999 model is I called them 1-800-356-0766 #5 (503-656-2280) and described what it was doing and they confirmed what the problem was and gave me a list of repairmen in the Phoenix area. I was lucky that one of them listed and came highly recommended was a son of the owner of Isley's RV (now out of business) that did mobile repair. Called and talked to him and he had the part and could come out but since I had already taken the top off and had explored inside he thought I could replace the part and get it repaired. He set out the part and the connectors I would need and had told me over the phone how to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. Would have been easier with smaller hands but it is repaired and have not had anymore problems with it.

The last time mine did that, we unplugged the unit from the wall, and replugged it in. Has not done that since.

Try un-plugging it and letting it sit a while and then re-plug it and try. Sometimes that works. When this occurs, it is usually a type of code. One of our customers needed a board when this occurred on his. Splendid will sell to you direct, so give them a call. Make sure you have make, model and serial number when you call them. They make have you check for powere at a couple connections if you are handy. Good luck, let us know how you make out.

Ours will do this if someone (me) tries to change the inital wash setting after it begins. Wife found in the owner's manual this was a normal reaction.????? Anyway, I reset the timer to the original setting, per her directions, and it operated correctly.

Ditto for me what Ray,IN said. When I was new to using the Splendide, I got impatient & tried to speed up a wash cycle a time or two by advancing the timer a few ticks. That would send it ticking around the entire dial & right back to where it was before I tried to advance it. I can do this, no problem, with my home washer, dryer & dishwasher, but it doesn't work the same with the Splendide.
If I want to shorten a wash cycle on it, I have to turn the unit off, then advance the dial a few ticks, then turn it back on.
