My motor was replaced in 1/2 hour. The service guy removed the outside panel, unhooked the old motor and put the new one back in. You will also have to pay for a service call on top of the time.

Follow UP and Question

I received the replacement motor and had a retired RV tech come to R&R this weekend. Guess what - WRONG PART! It seems there is an old style and a new style. Who knew?

So now that I have the motor out, I noticed there are two screws running all the way through the motor with nuts on the other end. It looks like this unit is NOT sealed after all.

I planning to remove those screws in the next day or so to see if there is any oil in there. If I need to add oil, what do you all recommend?

Would you still replace with a new motor or just oil the old one? The incorrect motor is being shipped back and the correct motor is on the way but I could always return it, too.

Open it up, nothing to loose, but be careful of the brushes, they will have small hole in holders to keep them in place with small wire

Then take the shaft to a bearing supply, motion industries will have them, change them, get motor back together and you area good
