Stationary for Winter - Plumbing in LP Tank

Hey Guys,

We are staying in SLC,UT for the winter and looking at having a LP company drop a 110lb tank to use for the furnace. They will deliver the tank and "hard" plumb it for $50, which in my opinion is a no brainer. $2.19 for propane too.....

This is excellent, but - I want to move the trailer as needed (we still plan on traveling a bit).

How would they typically plumb it? We have a standard 2 leg LP regulator and 2x20lb bottles for our propane supply. I'd like to add that big LP tank and its copper plumbing and a quick disconnect.
I asked them about this and they mentioned the quick disconnect would be $150 extra (!).

What i'd in the end like is the big tank ended in a standard 20lb bottle male fitting so I could just hook it into my existing pigtails just like it was a 20#, but my guess is that's too easy.....thoughts?

I would look into the Extended Stay type systems, basically a do-it-yourself system. I installed it on my Motor Home and could move it to my Travel Trailer if I ever put the TT back on the road.

The propane company here (Flagstaff) provided the same 110 gallon external tank with free delivery and set up. They just connected the external tank with a 10' flexible rubber hose. They shut off our on-board tank, disconnected the hose coming from the on-board tank to the coach and connected the external tank's hose to the coach hose with a $3 brass male/male adapter from Home Depot. If I want/need to move the coach, I just need to reattach the coach hose to our tank and drive away.
