i have 34' 89 driftwood. thermostat on, fan runs for a while then shuts off. I have read on this site it may by sail switch. I only have the intake and exhaust ports on outside not a panel. Do I have to remove the furnace to access the sail switch? I do not see the circuit board either. I think it is along the side behind the gas connection and shut off valve? I have looked for an exploded diagram on line which would be helpful without success. I have the manual mentioned but does not include a entire diagram of how things are oriented. Any answers or suggestions appreciated as always. bigshirley

If the thermostat is calling for heat, and the blower motor has power - the motor should not be quiting/shutting off? It should run until the t-stat is satisfied or it runs out of power whichever comes first - no mater if the burner is running or not?

The sail switch proves to the rest of the system that the blower is turning fast enough to prevent overheating should the burner ignite. It can't posible cause the blower to quit.

The furnace needs to be removed from it's case to access any of it's parts, and the outside vent must be removed prior to pulling the furnace.

First verify that you have good voltage at the furnace with the motor running. If not that could be the problem. If you do have 12 vdc or more then you will need to pull the entire furnace for servicing.

I misspoke, I remembered turning the thermostat down and the motor ran for a short while then shut off, thank you, I was afraid you would say that!
