I have a new suburban oven. I light it and it gets hot, but then everything goes out. The burner and pilot go out and it does not reignite. Any idea on how to keep my oven going so I can cook?

Thanks
Bill

Please give us the year of your coach. Is the range in a slide out? Do other gas appliances still work after the range does not? Have you tried re-lighting the oven. If other appliances and the stove top burners still work, you should start your diagnosis with the main LP pressure regulator to insure that the working pressure is 11" water column with a good size load on it; then go from there if necessary.

I think I figured it out. As strange a it seems I think the exhaust hood fan was pulling enough air that it pulled air from the stove top oven vent and put out the pilot. I turned off the vent fan and the oven stayed lit. I will experiment more.

It is a brand new oven 2012 Coachman Catalina. The oven is not in a slide out and was the only gas appliance on at the time. All other gas appliances work ok including the stove to burners.

Thanks
Bill

If the range vent hood exhaust is pulling the pilot flame off, then you must have an air leak under the range; maybe where the LP gas line is run through the floor. Seal up the air gap and retest with vent on and roof vent open to release CO.
