Suburban RV water heater module board location

I just did a search trying to find the location of the module board on a Suburban SW6DE RV water heater.

This is so the next person might have an easier time finding it.

This was on a 2007 ForestRiver Sunseeker.

I removed the top drawer in the kitchen & it was visible just behind the water heater.

A tanish cover with a center connector on one end (4 wires). It just lifts up and is easy to remove when the connector is disconnected and the spark cable is unplugged.

Correct ........
FYI

The control module for SW6D and SW6DE are not mounted on water heater ...they come loose and 'installer' has to mount it. Hopefully in a reasonably accessible area

So while yours was there IT could very well be somewhere else in another brand/model of RV and even in one same as yours.
Installers are installers getting paid 'piece work'.........Git-R-Done!

Modules on other Suburban Models are OEM mounted to backside of water heater

Also looking from the rear (backside of water heater) the DC Junction Box is on left and AC Junction Box on right

Good idea to check the wire nut connections in both boxes. I tighten and wrap with electrical tape to prevent come loose from vibration/bouncing etc
