On 2 occasions it started back up, blew heat for 5 - 10 minutes, and then shut down again while still no where near the desired temperature(72 degrees). I have had 50 different people tell me to try 50 different things so I'm still at a loss for what road to go down and wondering if it's worth it just to be a new one if it's this cheap:

I'm perfectly capable of repairs, but it seems to me once I replace the fan(which because of the squeal is inevitable) thermocoupler, ignitor, and who knows what else before it starts working, I might end up spending $300 anyway. I could be off with how much the parts will cost though.
But then what if it's not the furnace all together!? Gah!
People say it sounds like a propane issue but I replaced the regulator and feel the symptoms are negating that.
Another heating guy said he's pretty sure it's the thermostat, but I just don't get how that would be the case.
Thoughts?
I suggest you pull the furnace and take it a RV service shop.

When my Suberban SF-42F was problematic I took it to a shop where they bench tested it... (and tested the ignitor board with their board tester)...at no charge.

BTW the problem turned out to be a bad sail switch, ($12 from the shop).

Long story short, I ordered a motor off Amazon. It was the right box, but the wrong motor. Exchanged it, same thing happened again! After talking with the manufacturer and Amazon, they were confident it was the right motor with a misprinted product number. After much toil I decide to remove the furnace from the RV and give it a shot. Sure enough, it's the wrong motor.

I had to put it all back together because the the next one won't arrive for 5 days and it's been below freezing at night. I decided to WD-40 the motor real good before I shoved it all back together as a test. Sure enough, it hasn't had an issue in 3 days! I'm still going to replace the motor when it comes in because I've learned in life to assume temporary fixes will quit in the worst times but I think this problem is solved!

If anyone is wondering, the motor's product # for a Suburban SF-42 furnace with a serial number lower than 012305119 was updated from 232212 to 233103. Make sure it is a 2 1/2" motor as there seems to be confusion with the product numbers and sometimes they'll have a 3" motor listed as 233103.

Thanks for all of the input! It's so nice to wake up warm!
