Itf there was a surge it is entirely possibly that it affected it. Think they'll admit it? Possibly, but probably not.

Sounds to me like the BIL was a day or two late with the Progressive Industries device.

I just hate it when I am "a day late and a dollar short." I've done that too many times over the years. Although the older I get, the less mistakes I am making. That comes with experience!

Last, best and final update - BIL had a long talk with the folks from Progressive Industries who talked him through taking the Surge Protector apart and checking inside it. No problems detected. BIL was hesitant to hook it back up but the owner of the park talked him into it and he has been using it for a few days without problem. No one from the power company has called him back. Owner did mention that they have been having some few problems with the power company.

That is all.

Did we cover if the BIL forgot to shut down the coach before pulling the plug from the pedestle to install the Surge Protection?
