Thermostat

I have a 2016 FR cardinal front living room. I have tried to regulate the temp in the unit to no avail. There was a 6° difference between on and off with air and heat. Changed thermostat 3 times. Replaced aircond circuit board twice. Finally I just had a wild idea. Place a fan that blows on thermostat. Ha! Problem solved. I've had dometic here and many calls to dometic to solve this problem. No luck until using fan.

It would help to know what thermostat you have installed.
But I had the same issue with our manual thermostat. In our case a Dometic.
All I had to do was find the model number of the existing thermostat, do a Google with that model number and the word replacement. I found a website that gave me the digital replacement.
It was pretty easy and now it works perfect.
Depending on your setup you might be able to use any digital thermostat from Lowes or Home Depot. Even a Nest. Some have done it.

Dometic therm. My understanding is only that type will work.. Single zone, backlit with air and heat. Digital.

I have to correct myself. We have a Coleman AC.
But the principle is the same.
Look at the part number of your existing thermostat and look for a digital replacement.

It sounds like you already replaced the thermostat so it should be easy for you to put in the digital one.
Coleman or Dometic, the digital thermostat made all the difference for us. It reacts within 1 or 2 degrees now.

My problem all along was never thermostat or circuit board. It was lack of air movement across the thermostat. My whole point of the post was to advise people to try using a fan to see if that corrects their large verance in temp.
