Thermostat not showing furnace option

We have a Duo-Therm Comfort Control Center 4-button thermostat and when I turn it on and scroll through the mode options, the furnace option does not show in either zone. All I see is: Fan Only, Cool and Heat Pump. We recently had it at Trans West RV in Frederick, CO to have a new roof installed and the furnace option was there before the new roof was installed, but not now. They say they did not do anything concerning the furnace and have not been any help. Has anyone had this issue before or have any suggestions what the problem might be? Any help will be appreciated.

They would have had to remove the air cons or heat pumps if you have them. They probably messed up a connection or dip switch setting doing that since some of the control settings are up there.

Steve, try this, pull the cover off the front of the thermostat. There is a fuse inside. Remove the fuse count to 10 then reinstall the fuse and see if that helped.

That's likely a dip switch setting. I've had the same issue.

I doubt seriously they would have changed any dip switch settings. More than likely there is a bad connection and a T'stat reset is in order when you do think the problem has been corrected. You will find a lot of useful info here http://www.irv2.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=3

Thanks everyone for the replies. We store our motorhome about a half hour drive from home, so I will check out your suggestions this weekend.

To RV Wizard's response, I did look at the repair bill and they did charge me for a Dometic 5-button board that I will have to find out which A/C unit it went in. I am not sure why they would have replaced it because to my knowledge they just removed and replaced the A/C units in order to replace the roof. I will have to look at the dip switch settings on this new board.

If you had a four button T'stat you cannot just install a 5 button. The 5 button is not compatible with the control boards of the original 4 button design. The control boards in all the roof air conditioners will have to be replaced if a 5 button T'stat is installed. If they did replace the control boards they may not have set zone one dip switches up for the furnace operation.
