As stated in the subject, the toilet won't hold water. As it is all electric, I don't know what controls the ball valve. Anyone have suggestions?
The toilet flushes but drains right away.
This is the silent plus model

Found the problem. The drain hose was too low, slipped from where it should be, putting the hose lower than the bowl. Just needed a zip tie

I would say post a pic - but have looked at mine and know hard that could be. I will look and see if I can relate your post to the "hoses" on mine.
Thanks for posting. I'm glad to have a 1/2 bath with traditional seat as a backup. We love the Tecma but it does have it's own set of potential issues.

I found it by reading the manual, which has a great picture and the warning. Turns out there is no ball valve.

redbaron73 ... thanks for posting the solution to the problem. I will check mine now and file this away for "the future".
I think I agree with flaggship1 on his statement ... "I'm glad to have a 1/2 bath with traditional seat as a backup. We love the Tecma but it does have it's own set of potential issues."
We almost got the manual toilet in the 1/2 bath but opted for Tecma's in both ... so far they have both worked flawlessly. Let's hope that continues.

I don't think I had an option, tecma was installed in both. Seems like a simple fix, and guessing that bouncing down the road it just loosened and slipped down.

And it gets a lot of up and down "bouncing" in use. When I first looked behind the thing I thought - wow - I need to keep this thing tight to the floor and watch all these lines. Sure enough - I had a leak at one of the little plastic fittings - fill line. Shop took it apart and no problem since. It would have been easy enough to do myself - but it was either stand on head for 1/2 hour or pay guy for 1/2 hour. Since he was doing other things I could or would not - I let him do it.
Like everything else on these things - follow the ABC rule. Always Be Checking.

How easy is it to get to the hose ? Is is as simple as removing the 4 hold down screws and moving the toilet out a bit ?
